I'm still not used to this internet meeting/dating thing. A little more about me. I was born in Southern Indiana. We had a farm.Very rural,the school my sisters went to was a one room schoolhouse with the potbelly stove.We moved to Indpls on the south side. We had a lawn service and Nursery. We also had a newspaper route, for all the paper boxes on the southsideof Indpls, About About two thousand papers for morning and fifeteen hundred for the afternoon edition. We were all expected to help. My job was Sod, Whoppee. I also had to help with the papers when I could, summers and school vacations. So you can see I'm used to working, besides having horses I get to shovel manure. I need something else to do.lol I'm self suffienicent, Not a gold digger.

I went back to college at 47. Was going for my teaching degree. I did not finish when my husband got sick and passed away, (got my associate degree though.) I also took up whitewater rafting at age 47. Yeah bring on the rapids! I have an adventerous free spirit. Willing to try most anything once. Although jumping out a perfectly good airplane, I might balk a bit.

I'm an honest, loyal (most of my friends have had 15+ years). I have a great sense of humor and can laugh at myself. I take what life throws at me and I go with the flow. I enjoy most outdoor activies. I can be in blue jeans by the day and evening wear for night on the town. Or I can just sit and cuddle watching a movie wit someone, (hopefully find him soon). I'm not high maintance, don't have a lot of baggage. I enjoy with a passion I am very loving, compassionate, you don't get this far in life without some of these qualities. I'm just looking for that someone special to spend my rocking chair years with.

I've been in Naples for 36 years now. I live in Golden Gate Estates. I sometimes refere to it as PFE. Plumb Frigging Everglades. LOL Once I was chased down my driveway by a alligator. My short stubby legs were faster than his short stubby legs. Must be from all those years of chasing horses. I've had horses for 42 years. Used to show a lot but now mostly just go trail riding and camping with them. Riding in the woods is always so magical. Ever feel Cypress needles after first rain in spring? So soft, almostlike rabbit fur. Almost always see some kind of windlife while riding.

I was married for 25 years. My husband was a Vietnam Vet suffered from Agent Orange. He had three types of cancer over the years. I remarried three years after his death. Lasted less than five months. I don't take being abused.

Here are some of the philospy I live by. I remeber sitting iin the gym in grade school, looking over my shoulder and seeing in bold red letters,
"Do unto others as you would havethem do unto you". That has really stuck with me all these years. Anothe came from a lady who I bought horses off in Indiana, She is the one who got me hooked on having studs. She told me, "First you get respect and then you get love" She was talking about owning a stud, but it's very true for people also. I do have some old fashion values, must come from living on the farm.
